The Derwent Scottish Pipe Band is a Hobart-based Band, formed in January 1952. Since its inception, the Derwent Scottish Pipe Band has maintained a relatively high profile on the entertainment scene in and around the city of Hobart, performing at a wide variety of functions from year to year, with street parades, in-door and open-air concerts.
