Suffering from eczema and rosacea, Jill Saunders started making a moisture cream based on her grandmother's herbal and honey cream recipe, and sold the jars of cream in Salamanca Market 30 years ago.

Beauty and the Bees is now a much loved Tasmanian brand with a comprehensive range of beautiful, effective, natural products for everybody.

They make very popular shampoo and conditioner bars loved by people all over Australia, luxurious soap bars, extra gentle baby products, products for men including beard shampoo, and nourishing moisture creams including Jill's original cream.

They still freshly hand make the products in Glenorchy, Tasmania, using Tasmanian leatherwood honey, plant oils, herbal and flower extracts.

Their ethical and environmentally-friendly products are packaged in paper, glass, and tin.
