Functional ceramic artwork handcrafted by Emily Williams in Lower Snug. Emily is lucky to be surrounded by Tassie bushland, which brings plenty of wildlife from which to draw inspiration. What started as a casual pottery class in 2018 has developed into a passion for different clay bodies, forms and decoration. Emily loves to focus on functional pieces, such as mugs and dishes, turning them into little works of art with hand painted fauna and flora. Ranging from silly "doodles" to intricate portraits taking hours to complete, Emily's underglaze paintings are utterly unique and a must-have for the wildlife lover. Proof that artwork doesn't always have to be serious, or gather dust on display. Drink your tea from it!
