John Martin Pottery

John has been at Salamanca Market since 2000, often at the Davey Street end.

Each handmade pot is fired with flame and melted ash from local Silver Wattle. Flame halos and licks of colour are unique to each pot and express the vitality of Tasmania’s still unspoilt environment.

His distinctive pots are great for eating, drinking and sharing moments in time. They are also quiet companions in contemplation and meditation. They are meant to become valued friends over a lifetime. Special pots for special people. Each and everyone.
