Michelle Winter Jewellery

Michelle has a strong connection to the environment, she draws much inspiration from the land, the wildlife and the sacred geometry found in nature. Her jewellery features iconic Tasmanian mountain landscapes that connect us deeply to our environment and give us a sense of 'place' and connection in this world. All the stones used in the jewellery are fossicked in the Tasmanian wilds by Michelle, and she hand fabricates every piece of jewellery. Her adventurous spirit and love of nature bring powerful aspects of magic and connection into the pieces, and many hold layers of story and meaning.

Living in the forests of the Huon Valley, Michelle’s studio is wrapped up in nature, she spends her days watching the wildlife and drinking coffee while meticulously hand piercing, fabricating, and forging her work.
