Ratho Farm Highlands Resort
As Australia's oldest golf course, Ratho Farm is one of few places in the world that golfers can still play a round with traditional Hickory golf clubs. With modern equipment rendering so many old courses obsolete, there is a rediscovery and boom in hickory golf. The public golf course is located in Bothwell, a 1-hour scenic drive from Hobart. At the market you can purchase your own set of traditional Hickory Golf Clubs and play sets along with Stay and Play packages, memberships, green fees and gift vouchers.
You can also purchase merchandise from 'Ratho Farm- Australia's Oldest Golf Course' and Australian Golf Museum Royal Hobart GC, Tasmania GC, Barnbougle and the King Island course including logoed caps, polos, golf balls, pitch repairers, branded vests, golf belts, branded hip-flasks and head-covers.
Ratho Farm also stocks locally sourced golf and highland merchandise such as Tasmanian Tartan Waverley Woollen Mill rugs, handmade Tasmanian timber putters, branded local knitwear from the likes of Smitten including vests, jerseys, beanies, jumpers, scarves and shauls.
