Unique Shoehorns create hand-made shoehorns from recycled Tasmanian timbers.
Unique Shoehorns began as personal necessity after a hip operation, progressing through Christmas presents to a recommendation that patients in rehab would find them useful. From there the business has grown, diversified into boot jacks and bookmarks. The boot jacks were a result of a request and bookmarks are using what would otherwise be waste timber. Unique Shoehorns has been regularly present at the market since 2014.
Starting originally with shoehorns 70cm long, they now includes lengths of 50cm, 30cm and 20cm. In addition there are now boot jacks and bookmarks.
All items are individually hand crafted from Tasmanian timbers by the owner and have been taken all over the world. They are a fabulous advertisement for all things Tasmanian, especially when customers video their thanks from as far away as Brazil.
